FIRST STEPS

1. Read User Manual

2. Connect to input air (Output air pressure is pre-set at the factory)

a. 60-100 PSI

b. 1.5 CFM

c. Clean air

d. No oil

e. No moisture
Air fitting connector

3. Connect to Input PowerInput Power symbol

a.Generator OK with continuous output  4,000 W

b.Extension cord: #12 AWG or larger; 25’ (8m) or shorter
120VAC, 20A outlet, 30A breaker recommended

4. Drag tip on work piece

Correct; Wrong

NOTE: Correct consumable assembly: a. Torch body; b. Electrode; c. Air diffuser ring; d. Cutting tip (0.65); e. Shield cup (two hole)

Operating Tips

Travel Speed

Correct; Wrong, Too fast. Watch spark trail angle.

Cutting capability

  • Will cut clean up to 1/4” (6.4 mm)
    1/4 inch cut

Replace worn consumables

  • Replacement electrodes and cutting tips available in a 4-pack (2 ea.) ITEM# 85392
    New consumables; Worn consumables

Troubleshooting Guide

Solid yellow; Duty cycle exceeded; Allow machine to cool. See manualFlashing green; Low input power; Verify power source is 120 VAC +/- 10%

Flashing red; Consumables not in place properly; Check consumable assembly. Tighten cup. See manual.Flashing yellow; Low input air pressure; Ensure air input meets pressure and flow requirements.
